Blanca reveals her past, born in the US., then as a Latina immigrant, from Mexico, who at 9 years old with her family of seven, was forced to live in a garage for 2 years with no hot running water and no heating, weathering the frigid winters of Washington State. Blanca tells her secret, following a promise she made to herself to become successful, while freezing cold in that garage.
