A second impression of this, with slight corrections, was quickly supplied. Since that time no catalogue in book form, attempting to cover the whole of the Library's collee tions, has been issued. A decision was soon reached, how ever, to issue regular monthly bulletins of additions to the Library and these began to appear in April 1896. The next year a department of printing was created and not only the Monthly Bulletin but also the cards for the regular card catalogues of the Library, including those of the branches as established, were issued in printed form. The composition was by linotype and the metal was preserved in the form of type so that lists and catalogues of various kinds might be printed from time to time without incurring the cost of re setting the matter.
