Accompanying these volumes are one photographic postcard showing association members on horseback circa 1911; two letters from popular farm journals seeking histories of the association, 1938; and a letter written by member A.H. Stickford to George Shane of the Des Moines Register in June 1942 in which he provides a brief background of the association and states his intent to forward its record books to Des Moines for eventual placement with the State Historical Society of Iowa.
