This book was released on 2013 with total page 424 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The main motivation of this book is to present the subject of elementary particle physics in relation to its developments and connections with astrophysics and cosmology, keeping in mind to show the tremendous development of particle physics as building blocks of the Universe. Besides the Standard Model of quarks and leptons, the shortcomings of this model and new physics based on supersymmetric neutrino, GUTs are critically discussed. Various works based on scientific and technological aspects developed in recent years have got priority in this presentation so that it uncovers the mysteries of the role of elementary particles to appreciate the fascinating building blocks of matter which in turn make up our Universe. Today, our thinking of elementary particles and their interactions extending to the understanding of the Universe has reached to an exciting point with many challenging astrophysical observations like dark matter, dark energy, matter-antimatter asymmetry etc. The book presents the recent developments in these diverse areas of particle physics with a view to develop ultimately a close link to the Universe as a whole.
