Book excerpt: Excerpt from Proceedings of the Mississippi Valley Historical Association, for the Year 1912-13, Vol. 6 This volume of the Proceedings of the Mississippi Valley Historical Association covers the transactions of the Association from the close of the fifth annual meeting in 1912 to the close of the sixth annual meeting in 1913. During this period two meetings of the Association were held - one at Boston, Massachusetts, on December 30, 1912, and the other at Omaha, Nebraska, on May 8, 9, and 10, 1913. The regular mid-year meeting was held at Bos ton, Massachusetts, in connection with the regular annual meeting of the American Historical Association. The Omaha meeting was the sixth annual meeting of the Asso ciation. Papers and addresses delivered at both of these meetings are included in this volume. In connection with the Omaha meeting of the Mississippi Valley Historical Association there was held the regular annual meeting of the Nebraska History Teachers Association and a special meeting of the Nebraska State Historical Society.
