Firstly, a physics-based model for the EDPVR and ESPVR of the LV represented by a thick-wall sphere with interpretable parameters is proposed, and the PV relationships of the LV are investigated. Then, the influence of fiber architecture on LV pump function is investigated using an idealized LV model of a truncated ellipsoid.
