In regard to some of these questions, it was decided that it was better not to interfere, and in regard to others, information is still being sought; The Committee wish it to be understood, that the Object Of the Health Society is not to come into collision with the authorities, but rather to co-operate with them. It does not-wish to embarrass or to force legislation; neither do its members wish to make themselves disagreeable in any way. All they want to do, is to educate the public to observe and work for themselves; and the Committee hope, that in time, it will not be necessary for the Society to go to the Public, but that the Public will come to the Society and ask them to assist them in connection with many important health matters.
