Book excerpt: The authors present a study of the decay B− → D*° K*− based on a sample of 86 million [Upsilon](4S) → B{bar B} decays collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factor at SLAC. The authors measure the branching fraction [Beta](B− → D*° K*−) = (8.3 ± 1.1(stat) ± 1.0(syst)) x 10−4, and the fraction of longitudinal polarization in this decay to be [Lambda]{sub L}/[Lambda] = 0.86 ± 0.06(stat) ± 0.03(syst).
